Our People
Jennifer Bristow , RMT

Jennifer's passion for massage therapy stemmed initially from her interest in alternative health care. She graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage which teaches techniques based in Swedish massage. She has worked with Chiropractors and Naturopathic doctors dedicated to restoring wellness and health. Jennifer welcomes the opportunity to help relieve discomfort clients suffer whether it is from chronic dysfunction, repetitive strain or sport related injuries. She believes that postural correction, muscular balance and stress relief can be achieved with regular treatments. Teaching clients exercises and stretches to do between treatments, jennifer believes results are seen sooner. Jennifer's compassion and commitment provides supportive care for her clients.
Anthie Dimoglou, RMT
Since her graduation from Elmcrest College in 2004, Anthie has worked in a variety of settings including a chiropractic clinic, spa and in private home care. Having received additional training in perinatal and infant massage, she especially enjoys working with pregnant and new moms. Anthie welcomes the challenge of treating any and all conditions and usually includes deep tissue and trigger point work in her treatments. Even when doing deep work, however, Anthie endeavours to include techniques that encourage stress-relief. Many clients have described her treatments as “deep but surprisingly relaxing.” Anthie believes we are each responsible for our own healing and feels privileged to be able to use her hands to facilitate healing in others!
Sydney English , RMT

Having connected with people through massage for fifteen years, Sydney’s hands now move by intuition. They naturally perceive the body’s nuances, stress points and physical challenges freeing her mind to consider what each individual client requires for healing and well-being.
When considering the needs of her clients, Sydney’s thoughts extend beyond the body to include the mind and spirit. Central to the health of all three is the movement of energy – the aspect of her practice she finds most interesting and fulfilling.
Sydney’s interest in energy and concern for the complete person has inspired her to further her education in the areas of Healing Touch, Reiki and Medical Intuitive since her graduation from Sutherland-Chan Massage School. Through these many modalities, Sydney focuses on the mind-body connection and healing process.
In a safe and nurturing environment, Sydney provides Swedish, therapeutic, sports, infant and pregnancy massage. She also offers Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Craniosacral therapy, Trigger Point therapy and Hot Stone massage. As Sydney concentrates on the needs of each individual, she draws on all her education and experience simultaneously to give them the best possible care.
Sydney has two daughters and has enjoyed working in the Beaches for 15 years.
Laura Manning, RMT
Laura’s interest in physical biodynamics started with ballet, gymnastics and martial arts. These led her to become fascinated by how the body works when it works properly and what happens to it when it doesn’t. She discovered the benefits of massage therapy after two car accidents and decided to undergo RMT training which she took at Kikkawa College. Her experience in a rehabilitation clinic has helped her to understand back and neck problems and she employs many techniques to help. These
include: Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, ART, Suikodo and deep tissue work.
Her fascination with the human body continues to expand and she now practices Thai Yoga Massage, Pre/Post Natal Massage as well as Hot and Cold Stone Massage. She is also happy to give a relaxing massage that includes the head face feet and hands.
Amanda Reid
Amanda is a professional freelance MUA who studied her craft at the School of Makeup Art in downtown Toronto. Since finishing, she has been successfully working in vairous mediums of the industry such as bridal, photography, film/t.v, and theatre.
Her philosophy is that, 'Quality should never be sacrificed,' which means that the Aveda line of makeup used at the Intuitive Touch spa has been a welcome addition to her makeup kit. Although her schedule is busy and full of surprises, Amanda has taken up part-time residence at the Intuitive Touch Clinic, which suits her just fine!

Patricia founded Intuitive Touch Therapies & Body Care Shop Inc. in 1992, a year after graduating from Sutherland Chan Teaching School and Clinic. Her vision was to create a calm and serene environment conducive to healing and to bring together a team of dedicated and talented therapists who share the same philosophy of a client-centered, holistic approach to treatment. In Patricia’s 15 years as a practicing Massage Therapist, she has also studied Healing Touch, Manual Lymph Drainage, Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology and Psychodrama Bodywork. She co-developed and participated in several workshops with Intuitive Touch Workshop Series, including Infant Massage and “Pas de Deux”, a massage workshop for couples. David Scammell, C.R.
While working as a musical theatre actor in the late '80's, David discovered the value and effectiveness of Reflexology. He became certified in 1991 and has been working through Intuitive Touch Therapies since 1994. Reflexology began his introduction to the world of alternative healing techniques and he has since studied Healing Touch, Craniosacral Therapy, Quantum Touch and Channeling. In 1997 David began a 4 year course of study based on the Barbara Brennan Technique and has been building his practice since graduating in 2001. This form of energy based psychotherapy strikes David as the perfect balance because it includes the wisdom of the body in the psychotherapeutic process. He continues to learn and explore the magic of the human body and spirit while offering relief and support to his broad base of clients.
